“Every meaningful innovation begins with a conversation. For us, it started with a simple idea.

I found myself wondering what would happen if something happened to me tomorrow. Could I preserve more than my photos, videos, or writing? Could I preserve my way of thinking, my stories, my experiences, and the lessons I had spent a lifetime learning?

Like many people, I tried using the AI tools that already existed. The results were terrible as I tried to build a custom GPT. They answered questions, but they didn't carry the depth, perspective, or personality that makes a person who they are. It never felt like me.

So I took my frustrations to LinkedIn and posted about my experience. Not long after, Mitch Lane, someone whose technical abilities I had respected since we worked together building a dating app ten years earlier, reached out and said, "Let's build it."

He joined HIVE / Mitchem Interactive INC as our Chief Technology Officer, and together with my wife and business partner, Diana Mitchem, we set out to create something none of us believed truly existed yet. And truly, our My HIVE AI™ is one of a kind.

We spent countless hours talking through what an avatar should be. Not just technically, but humanly. How should it learn? How should it remember? How should it protect context? How should it preserve someone's personality instead of simply predicting the next word? We agreed sometimes, we argued other times, but in the end we built a new kind of language, a new way of thinking about preserving wisdom, and a new way of thinking about AI avatars.

From those conversations, Mitch Lane built the technology and tested it with avatars of people close to him, and even Superman. Diana shaped the vision for our store and the countless decisions that turned ideas into a real platform. My first avatar was of my grandfather, who died when I was 7. Only recently, after a medical scare, did I sit down and start the journey of building myself as an avatar to leave to my kids. Together, as the HIVE team, we created My HIVE AI. And it is truly remarkable.

Today, My HIVE AI is a beautiful product that will soon become an avatar for cities, sports teams, and you, if you download today. It represents the work of our entire team and our shared belief that artificial intelligence should amplify humanity, not replace it.
